It is a method created by the German instructor JH Pilates more than seventy years ago, which is based on a combination of exercises deriving from Eastern and Western disciplines in which movements similar to those of yoga are combined with strengthening techniques to develop toned muscles, slender and flexible.The matwork lessons respect the tradition of the Pilates technique, sinking its roots in the classic sequences conceived by Joseph Pilates enriched by new approaches to biomechanics and postural alignment even with the use of small tools.

WHAT IT'S FOR
The main purpose of Pilates is to restore the body to optimal functioning. The method can be performed to improve and maintain physical fitness. Its regular and correct practice helps to obtain many physical and psychological benefits, including:

Cosimo Conti

From an early age he began to practice sports passing from judo to karate, the latter discipline practiced at a competitive level. The passion for sport means that it becomes a profession starting with fitness and then landing and deepening the study of pilates and yoga by studying and continuing to improve in continuous updating with the most prestigious schools in the Italian territory from the Italian fitness federation and Covatech Pilates School .
