Kung Fu for children

Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4 pm

Famous from the cinematic beginnings in the West as Kung Fu (ABILITY) the course is based on the study of Taijiquan.

The course is suitable for girls and boys from 8 years up to 12 years, for older boys we recommend the following courses: Kung Fu Taijiquan Chen for boys and adults

In the Chinese schools of Traditional Kung Fu, the study of martial arts begins at the age of 5/6, so that the child can easily develop the qualities, skills and moral teachings typical of this ancient oriental discipline.

Traditional Kung Fu is much deeper than a simple sport activity, in fact, in addition to developing the body and its natural physical potential, it improves self-discipline, concentration, self-confidence and inner calm.

The training program is particularly suitable for a healthy psychomotor development and to improve the natural psycho-physical coordination of the child. These are the fundamental requirements that favor the natural and healthy growth of the child, allowing the development of his innate talents and qualities.

This course promotes socialization and offers the child movements that require balance, fluency, agility, speed, precision, sensitivity, elegance and control, creating a correct harmony between mind and body, stimulating the memory and the learning ability that the child owns.

Thus, by alternating in a balanced way games, traditional exercises, forms, couple exercises, physical training and use of the typical tools of Traditional Kung Fu, the child will be put in the best conditions to be able to grow and develop himself.

The ASD space does not finalize its courses to competitions and competitive sports, but to the practice of Traditional martial art, Kung Fu is studied as an art and discipline of the mind and body, for this reason it is fully taught in its aspects physical, theoretical, moral and philosophical, as has always been the case since its ancient origins.

STUDY PROGRAM

The course is based on the study of Traditional Kung Fu, but the exercises and workouts are adapted and simplified, in such a way as to allow them to be studied even at a young age, in this way no particular problems are created even for younger children.

The course is mainly based on the study of the Chen style of Taijiquan which is the most suitable method as it allows you to easily assimilate the technical bases of Chinese martial arts. Furthermore, this style is beautiful, fun and varied and is generally very popular with children and teenagers. The program is gradually introduced according to the level of study, in order to make it easier for the child to learn Traditional Kung Fu.

The course includes the study of the following sectors:

  • General athletic training

  • Work on joint mobility and looseness

  • Muscle and tendon stretching

  • Technical bases of Traditional Kung Fu

  • Specific exercises for coordination and muscle toning

  • Specific workouts to improve balance, precision and speed

  • Couple workouts

  • Release from sockets

  • I work on falls

  • Study of Traditional Forms
